Sigiriya the Lion Rock

Sigiriya the Lion Rock, is located in the central province of Sri Lanka, a few kilometers from Dambulla. It is a massive column-shaped stone of more than 200 meters in height, whose summit soars 340 meters above sea level. Sigiriya stands as a witness to Ceylon’s civilization under King Kasyapa’s reign (477-495 AD).

A Unesco listed World Heritage Site, is the most visited site in Sri Lanka.
