Royal Wedding at The Ubud Palace
The double royal wedding was on its way. Last March 18th a special fragrance was breathing on the streets of Ubud, one of the most picturesque villages and of cultural significance of the island of Bali.
Dozens of locals were walking on the streets carrying bouquets and decorations, towards Puri Agung Ubud, the main palace of the royal family. It was a big day for the city. Ichiro Sukawati, Sukawati Putera Tjokorda son – who in earlier times to the Republic of Indonesia would have been the King of Ubud – married Cokorda Istri Julyana Dewi, Puri Anyar Palace.
